Soundaktor disrupting 1 tweeter

Thought I would share this since I searched and didn’t find any cases exactly like this one.
I had an issue where my right front tweeter would sound very distorted at mid-high volumes. Either loud music or high reving would cause it. It sounded and acted exactly like a blown speaker would act.
As a last ditch effort before replacing the tweeter, I disconnected the soundaktor and that seems to have done the trick.
It’s common to hear a “vibrating” noise behind the dash, but this was clearly coming from the speaker. Hope this saves someone from plugging their own ears or tearing apart their dash.

Might have been a ground issue. Glad you got it sorted.
Seems like it right? My plan was to investigate the wiring more closely, but I had a hell of a time fitting my hand in that little compartment so I just pulled the plug.
