Silicone emblem overlays?

I hate to keep reposting this but I really need to find out more about these things. They were posted in the subtle cosmetic mods thread and I've tried to contact the OP both here and on Flickr where he hosted the images, but he hasn't gotten back to me. Has anyone ever seen these out in the wild anywhere?

It looks like they're just a soft silicone that fits directly over the existing emblems, but I could be wrong. I've looked all over eBay, dhgate, aliexpress, you name it.

Any thoughts?

I can’t see that being a thing. There’s no way for silicon to be retained without it wrapping the whole way around.

I’m willing to bet the guy was confused, those appear to be replacement badges which are cheap and take 5 mins to install. Not a big deal guys, plastic pry tool

Maybe, but the front one doesn’t quite line up right. It definitely sticks up more on the top than an actually replacement emblem. The part that sold me was that if you look closely, there’s chrome underneath
