For those wondering, this side marker can be replaced easily by just removing the bulb in the same unit as the dipped beam. It is just located in the corner or the unit.
The little bulb reference is :
W5W
2J6
12V5W
I have a EUR spec golf mk7 but with those NAR halogen units mounted.
