Totally. I've owned a lot of VWs and I believe the deal I got on my GLI was the best bang for the buck yet. I paid $24,000 and got 35th anniversary edition with DCC and DSG

Pretty much exactly what I paid. Great car after dealing with a lemon of an R-Line that VW bought back.
