Haha! You got me! I did pick it up with the windows already pre-tinted. Previous owner also added all weather floor mats, and the splash guard package (didn't know MK7 splash guard had that trim on the sides of the door area). I think when the car gets new lowering springs, the splash guard will give it the 'aftermarket' door runner look, while still being functional.
