Purchased one recently for my car . When i got the paperwork from the supplying dealer i discovered that it is through the dealer itself and not vwuk that the service is underwritten by.

bought mine on the day I picked up the car, as the offer wasnt available at the time of order. I filed it away and didn't look at the paperwork. What do you want to know?

they normally display 2 options used and new service plans

Ask to see the actual Service Manager at your dealer.

( It may be your dealer business prefers to push their own company service plan first before VW's own package )

If all fails buy the VW package from another dealer.

Thanks. I was going to do it today but re-did the quote on the Web site and the price seems to have increased significantly in the last few weeks (by about £100 I think), so I think I'll just take the risk of "pay as you go".
