rhythm ftmfw. I got a crappy peavy set but I play on my friends pearl set all the time. It sounds so much better, been playing for about 4-5 years

Love Drums. I have borrowed two drum sets in my lifetime but never owned one and it was the best. :thumbsup: . Im into that hardcore and modern day metal music. :biggrin:

Drums are my third instrument, but also probably my favorite. I've got a 3 up 2 down ELX kit with a crapload of cymbals, it gets the job done. My top 3 - Peart, Bonham, Carey....so many more.

I don't play drums, but in my opinion Carter Beauford is highly underrated. He's got an immense level of technical skill and pulls off some pretty complex rhythms.

agreed, carter has some sick grooves and the way he floats over the high hats is amazing.
