Running cable under the roof liner

Has any one ran a cable under the roof liner?
Going to install a dual Dash camera and would like to run the cable from the rear hatch to the front mirror. (Already have 2 cables going up the drivers side A pillar)

I installed a blackvue 2ch camera on my mk7 gti. take apart the center compartment by the rear view mirror. Use a wire snake to push to the outside you will see it come out of the insulation.
