I'm having an issue with my 2015 GTI getting a grinding/rubbing noise when I let off the clutch in 1st to drive off. Whenever I launch from first around 1000rpm I hardly get the noise or have any issues. If I pull away in about 1500 rpm or do a harder launch to enter traffic I get a grinding/rubbing noise from the front drivers side engine area(kind of like a kid's bike with a baseball card in the spokes just amplified). The problem doesn't resurface in any other gear. It'll happen in first and as soon as I shift to 2nd it goes away. I can feel the vibration thru the gas pedal very faintly. I'm ED Stage 2, H&R Sport Springs, 3" DP, CTS BOV - do you have any idea if this could be the input shaft bearing? I've been living on Google searching and it seems like a lot of FWD vehicles suffer from this at some point but no one ever has an answer for it. Thanks guys.
