For the second time in 3 months I have got a "check left reverse light bulb" message on the MFD. Each time, after checking the bulb, replacing the holder and closing the hatch, the message has reset only to come back some time later, with no message on reverses in between.I replaced the first bulb myself with one bought from my dealer but took the car in today so they could check for dodgy connections etc.
The outcome? "It was just the bulb, not covered by warranty" I asked how many people have had light bulbs that can blow, repair themselves and repeat this cycle? Why hasn't the other bulb done the same? They had no answer and gave me the new bulb for free.
I've asked them to record this on my car's service file but was wondering, has anybody else had the same problem.?
