This is a controversial topic isn't it since most people choose to add new exhausts to their vehicles. However, I am thinking of removing the exhausts of my Golf GTE to the 7.5 R-Line diffuser instead, you know - with the fake ones. Reason being is I don't find the exhaust appealing at all and would rather have an r-line look with the diffuser. Truth be told, I kind of fancy the fake exhausts due to the symmetry, I wouldn't mind if they worked but that's way too much work.
So my question is, is this doable? How hard would this be?

I realise I need to cut the exhausts away from the back as it wouldn't be possible to attach the diffuser. In what capacity is it a hazard to do so, literally just cutting it off so the diffuser can be attached? Any more ideas would be helpful of course.
