Hey guys, I'm having an odd issue all of a sudden with my '15 GTI. The parking brake seems to not be adjusted correctly all of a sudden and I need to pull it up much further than normal to engage. Even more annoying, when I go to release the brake, tension seems to be pulling it up. Just enough so that it's on the very verge of making the car think it's actually on and it pops up with the 'brake' light. Any ideas on what's going on and why this happened without any changes to the car?
