Hi all, i’m hoping someone is able to help with this, ive tried a few methods now to clear the outside of my headlights and they feel smooth now like it’s done, could it be on the inside and is there a way to clean them if it is?

That's not a bad way to do it... but, you shouldn't wax or seal paint until it completely gasses off... especially cheap rattle can paint. If you plan on going this way wet-san down to 1500 and apply 2K clear like Eastwood or SprayMax 2K gloss clear. If you don't want to deal with painting buy a 3M headlight restorer kit and use PPF or a coating/sealant after you polish the headlights. Wax will only last for a month or 2, especially over polycarbonate and the lights will start oxidizing again. The reason they oxidize in the first place was because the UV protective coating they have new wears out, and polycarbonate is not UV resistant.
