Oettinger spoiler fitment

Thoughts on fitment? It should be flush right?

I've installed 4-5 Oettinger spoilers or kit pieces over the years from MK4-MK7, I've seen body shops ruin these pieces due to there both temps being too high and causes the pieces to shrink. Also can be your installer did not let the glue setup on the pieces when he put them on because they will move as the glure cures.

Here is my 5pc Oettinger TCR Race spoiler I installed and my gaps are even with perfect fitment.

OP that fitment is way off. I'll take pics tomorrow of mine if you want. I elected to do 3M tape as opposed to adhesive under the recommendation of my body shop. Paint and install was $450 but it looks absolutely perfect.

Yeah definitely not 100% satisfied with fitment. Any advice on how to go about getting it fit properly? Could I remove it myself without damaging paint?

Golf R GT do you have the entire TCR kit installed? Where did you purchase?

no because they don't make exact fenders for the MK7 and I prefer the Schmid Motorsport kit which is an exact replica mold of the Gen 1 TCR race car kit and cheaper.
I do have the TCR race car hood scoop that I bought from VW Motorsport but haven't installed it yet

Basically your spoiler needs to be moved forward to match the body line.
