Odd clutch question

While reading some posts here from a while ago about the dreaded clutch slip with tuning I saw some rather eye catching posts. Some mentioned that 2015 models have a better clutch as in clamping force than 2016-2018 models typically the earlier 2015s. Just wondering if anyone can shed any facts or light on this.

There are no facts, it’s anecdotal.

There doesn’t appear to be a parts revision.

As an example Automobile Mag or Car and Driver’s long term 2015 GTI had clutch slip on a stock car at 40k.
