The golf has been a blast. I don't miss the E90 at all. It wasn't very good at anything I tried make it do. It used to be an autocross/hpde/daily commute car. It was heavy, automatic, awd, and had bad gas mileage. Since then I've build a track prepped E36 M3 thats dedicated to hooning. The E90 was retired to just daily drive. I figured it would be better to have specific cars for dedicated purposes. Said goodbye to the 18mpg I was getting in that car and picked up the TDI. My commute isn't too long, but I do make longer trips on the weekend. Its great to not have to fill up 16 gallons every 250 miles. My most recent trip to my parents' place yesterday averaged 51mpg! I'm thrilled. The more money I save on the daily, the more I can allot for the race car.
The lady in the last picture is not mine, nor is it me. Although she can be visited at Papermoon in Springfield haha.
