new south boost gauge wiring

Just finished installing my boost gauge and followed their instructions, which i know are for the mk6.

Afterwards i noticed that when i leave my headlight switch on "auto" the gauge remains lit even with the car shut off.

Did i tap into the wrong wire maybe?

proboly tapped into somthing on that switch instead of on the power on port. thats if these cars have that.

unless im missing somthing new were the car holds power untill the lights are put in the off position

yea not really sure, hoping someone with some experience can chime in.

I did the same thing....i dunno....i just turn the lights off now....super annoying but im too lazy and its too cold to play around....question, does your gauge buzz a little?

I followed ecs tuning guide and tapped the black and yellow wire instead of the purple and it works now
