New camera

I just got an XSI for christmas and i cant put it down lol. ive been taking pictures all day long since christmas. I just have 18-55mm lens right now but i plan on getting a 55-250mm in the next few weeks. Any advice would help alot. i dont have photoshop at the moment so theres no post processing.

You guys make me sick! I've had my D5000 since May and none of my pictures come out that good. Okay, maybe 2-3 have come out good like that w/ no post processing, but for the most part, my pics are left wanting.

thanks lol but i personally think all those shots that i took are bland and they feel like there missing something. hopefully once i get used to my camera, ill start getting better shots
