Need Help!!

Ok well right now my name is not actually on the title for my car. My brother in law bought it for me in LA, Im in Sacramento even though the car is with me right now.

He has the title with him and his name is on it as the only owner and I need to add myself to it(not transfer), but Im not exactly sure how to do it through the pinkslip.

If anyone has their title by them and knows how to do it I would really appreciate it if you can maybe tell me where he signs, and then when he mails it to me, where I full out my info. Thanks in advance everyone.

Im probably not a big help but i think you need to go to the dmv to get yourself added onto the title. I could be wrong but normally when you buy the car they ask you who is going to be on the title.

Well the car is bought already and we recently received the title, now I just need to add my name to it.

Or at least contact them with your question as they (not random MKV forum members from all over the globe) will have the correct answers for you.

Well in Ga, and Ne (two states I have lived in) and the title offices are different then the DMV.. so I check on that first....
