Anyone run rutheniums on a Sneeky tune? The email I got suggested Brisk ER12s gapped @ .020 - .022 but I just put these ruths in like 1,500 miles ago and she’s been running well. If I have to go with the Brian’s so be it
Yes I run them on my custom tune from him….

During tuning i used both these and er10s and didn’t notice a difference and never had a moment while he was sending revisions that be “saw” I was swapping plugs.

Can you suggest one or two that are known to work well? I have a 45W charger in the console port.

I've had this one since the very first batch was released on IndieGoGo.

https://www.aawireless.io/

Very minimal issues with it. It might fail to connect every once in a blue moon, but not often enough to really be a bother.

I have a friend with the Motorola MA1 adapter, and from what I can tell, it's the exact same thing/technology as the AAWireless one.

Friend who has it has no complaints about it.

Where do you put it and your phone, in the cubby next to the USB port? Do you have any disconnection issues when going over bumps or when driving aggressively?

It stays in the cubby, with the cubby door able to remain closed. Phone stays in my pocket, since it doesn't need to be plugged in.

I contemplated taking the cubby out, removing the USB port, and running an extension to move it to the center console cubby, and keeping the unit in there. That way I'd still have full use of the cubby if I wanted to. However, I found that not necessary.

Nope, never have any issues with disconnects.

+1 for the AAwireless unit. I've had it for a while now and it works great, no issues with bumps or disconnects, ever.

Setup was easy and it connects in seconds every time. The manufacturer has pushed a couple OTA updates since I've had it, and I appreciate how simple that process is as well.

If there's any con, it's that the phone battery drain is a little high when connected. But I have a phone charger in the center console outlet if needed for longer drives.

2017 Golf SportWagen and the current set-up is IS20 with Unitronics Stage 2 IS20 tune. I am due to change the spark plugs soon. I hear going with a RS7 plug is worth it… Also thinking of upgrading the coils. What do you all think is the best to go with? Cheers

Your setup: ruthenium sparkplug and factory coils. Unitronic tune does not demand much.

Edit: Uni tune is also developed on stock plugs. Trying to do anything more is just a waste of cash.

Looks like yes. Never done it myself, but this video goes over it and how it works.
