If you’re a fellow Mk7 wagon owner and are coming to Avf in Helen, Ga or you’re somewhat local and want to attend the biggest/baddest Mk7 wagon cruise on the east coast don’t miss this!
Date: May 17
Time: 10am Rollout
Location: TBD - Will be confirmed and announced a week before event (Expect same meeting point as last year- Subway Parking Lot in Helen- arrive 30-40 mins early for a drivers meeting)
The route is referred to as the Suches Loop also known as Georgia's Tail of the Dragon. It consists of varying degrees of technical twisty roads including a mountain pass w/ wide 2 lane banked turns. We stop at the top of Blood Mountain for a cool down and then a chill cruise back into town. Upgraded brake pads are highly recommended.
