My first post on here. I had the same issue as the first post in this thread - car is a 2018 7.5 R with keyless. Every morning the driver or passenger doors would not operate on keyless (Boot operated fine on keyless). This was using either of the 2 car keys. A short drive made no difference to the driver/passenger door keyless operation. However, if the the car was driven for around 20 mins or more driver/passenger doors would operate on keyless.
The car went back to the VW dealer for investigation and they found the car battery voltage was low. This explained the reasoning for when the car was driven for 20 mins or more the battery voltage had increased a bit to support the keyless operation on the doors. VW fitted a new car battery and keyless works fine now every morning.
