JB4 BT connect - switching from iOS to Android?

Curious if anyone knows how I transition my JB4 mobile app to my new galaxy s8? I know they have an app now, but is t the current kit locked to my current iPhone? So confused and want to figure out before shipping iPhone out....any help???

Unless the IOS and Android software were coded by the same developer you may be locked into using an apple device or repaying for the android version.

I have both Android and iOS devices.
Bought JB4 on Android first, since only Android works with the OTG cable.
When I bought the JB4 connect kit I e-mailed the developer and he gave me a code to get the app for free in the Apple App store. He will want the e-mail address that it was purchased under.
