i simply replaced the grille with an all black one from ebay or something.

the trickier part was vinyl wrapping the lower bumper lip piece, that kinda sucked and didnt turn out perfect but it is effective. i got it from badgeskins i believe.

i had also wrapped the vw roof rack; since then i pulled it off though, i'm just not sure i like the roof rack look.

IIRC NTBVinyls, Badgeskins, and Klii Motorwerks all sell kits to do this with vinyl. I did NTB for my inlays (for the fender blades) and I'm very pleased with them.

I added some red to the side fins I think it turned out pretty sharp and an easy subtle mod for an hour of my time.

Gotta heat them up a few phases and clear coat the ends so it doesn't peel . It's 28* out and nasty weather so if it lasts for the next week I'll know they're durable

Digging this up, are those pretorias powdercoated matte with belvedere center caps?
