Thank you guys. I looked and noticed that the GTI's in SoCal are a bit more than everywhere else. I would like one around $20K with about 10K miles on it. An S manual.

I just bought a 2017 dsg sport for 21k with 10k miles.

I also saw a CPO 2017 sport Manual for 21k with 10k miles.

GTI's in LA are more expensive than other locations

I could but it might be complicated with financing, sales tax and registration.

Thank you.
Most dealers either use a broker or can calculate out of state taxes.

Those that don't can certainly give you temp plates and not charge you sales tax. You then register the car in your state and pay taxes. Generally pretty easy but will require a trip to DMV.

Financing shouldn't be an issue.

It was sold within a week. I was going to pick the manual one up.

Edit:
It was in Norman Reeves Irvine VW Superstore for the manual one.
I picked mine up at autonation

My point is, if you could wait, you could find better deals. Also are you sure you don't want PP? If you know you won't use it then youre more than fine. Non PP cars should be cheaper

CPO adds some value with the 2 yr/24k mi warranty for the 2017 and prior for sure. CPO 2018 and newer add only one yr to the warranty. I was considering a CPO but opted for a 2018 with the 6yr/72k warranty and brand new for a few grand more.
