Is it normal for dogs to get white hair on the head?

Well, my dog had brown hair on the head since it was a puppy, but, in the last few years, it's head hair has slowly been turning white. Is this normal?

I'm sure its fine, how old is he? My dog is slowly getting more grey hairs as well.

it's normal; my neighbor's dog is getting older and is growing grayer.

Mine is 3+ and has been getting grey/white around nose/mouth for awhile.

perfectly normal. Occasionally, like most animals, over the course of time with constant seasonal changes, the coat itself will change colors. Sometimes going from black to gray, or from orange to white. Brown to black, etc.

Happens to foxes, rabbits, bears, and other mammals, naturally.
