How to remove panel right below grille?

I'm trying to get access to the rear of the grille for a mount, how do I get that panel off? I know there is the other panel right behind it, that you remove a bunch of Torx bolts, but I'm not seeing how to remove the panel right?

Which panel do you mean? The one with the VW mark on it?

Simply remove the 2 torx bolts on top and fold up/tilt forward then pull straight up. Easy peasy.

If you mean the one where the radar goes if fitted then I am afraid it is bumper off to get to it.

yeah, thats my conclusion aswell.. Looked at it when I mounted the Auxlights to ours and just decided to it was too much of a hassle.

I think we are referring to the same panel. It's right in front of the engine splash panel that's held on with about 7-8 Torx screws. I'm trying to access the space directly behind the bottom black plastic grille, in front of the radiator. If that's the same area, taking of the bumper, what a pain in the ass. But however, your pictures seem to indicate it's accessible from the top, if I pull that panel and the VW grille off.
