How to get App Connect in Golf 7.5 2018?

Hi I just bought a used Golf 7.5 2018 model from August 2017. I didn't notice before I purchased the car that it don't support App Connect, and therefore I can't use Android Auto or Apple Carplay. The seller says it's not possible to just unlock, as the infotainment system dosen't have hardware support for it. What should I do?

Do you have AppConnect in the menu? If not, it's not supported.

No there isn't any AppConnect menu on the screen, also missing hardware button on the side og the screen. So it will probably involve hardware changes, but I don't know where I get it changed or if I can purchase the part my self.

I'm located in Denmark. But north Germany is also an option for retrofit, and probably cheaper also, compared to Denmark

Yep, non-genuine and perhaps a bit OT (please don’t beat me) but anybody experience with those android boxed from ebay/ali that are plugged into the USB slot near the gear stick? It basically promises the same like those boxes that requires to be placed between the screen and the glove box unit with a lot of cables and more removal needed.

Not sure if it requires to have Appconnect/Carplay activated by the VW or just that HW is supporting those functions.
