Help - what have I missed on the Macan hose? No slot for clip.

As photo shows, the Macan hose (right) does not have a slot similar to the GTI hose so cannot take the clip to hold the hose in place where it connects to the GTI's hard line. I've searched this thread for "hose" but do not find anything regarding this. The car is currently up in the air with the first new caliper in place and connected all but for this. (For those who will suggest I use Techna Fit's, I called them early on but their current lead time is way too long for me.)

Well, ok, then. There have been a comment or two about no slot for the clip with the general conclusion being that there's nowhere for the hose to go anyway so don't worry about it. I've use a few zip ties to hold it in place but am a bit nervous about it.

Solved. Update: here's a photo of the $1.96 solution. These clips cost under a buck and are a piece of cake to install. Next time you're going to bleed your brakes, just add this.
