Help deciding a downpipe and going stage 2

Not sure if there is a tune friendly dealer in you area but I do know that Smith VW in Delaware carries everything. Even if you dont want to spend the money on a new DP, the marketplace always has something for sale. I am running the APR DP. If you plan on going IS38, DO NOT get the APR muffler delete. I had to upgrade to the Newspeed delete because of the larger port on the bigger turbo. If you just plan on going Stg2, Get the delete from APR and their DP. You can run the stock CB and it still sounds good IMO..

+1 on going APR. You get the free upgrade to stage 2 and fitment is great so I'd go this route. I have a CTS and not one issue with it, but APR's stage 2 upgrade and the price with a cat is a great option IMO

You're totally right. Since its a legit VW dealer, and they are completely fine with tuning APR i might just go with them.

Since you are NY, where is this Mod Friendly dealer? if you don't mind me asking, all the dealers around are not Mod Friendly :-(
