Helix sub question

Hello all, I installed helix subwoofer in my golf with mib 2.5 , but i have a problem with audio at low or at 0% i hear a sound from the speaker like a noise all the time wich doesnt go away without turning off the infotaiment. Some said its normal because of the amp , can somebody help.

Sounds like you are describing amplifier hiss. The helix amp has its gain up really high to give you that loudness and sub thump.

There's a potentiometer (small plastic screw) on the amp people have messed with to turn down the bass levels if you wanted to see if that helps.
