GTI wheels for R

Will a set of GTI wheels fit my 2015 Golf R? I put 18" OZ's on when I got the car but they don't play well with PA roads. I replaced two already and now another is cracked. I'd like to stay with the 18" but get stock VW wheels.

GTI wheels are interchangeable with those on an R. Unfortunately, PA potholes do a number on the heavier VW wheels as well--don't ask me how I know. If you're in the Philly area, there's a company up in Manayunk (Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists) who does a very good job of straightening wheels for a somewhat reasonable price. I've learned to always buy an extra couple of wheels whenever I pick up an aftermarket set.

God I used to live in that tri-state area, SE PA / South NJ / North DE... It wasn't just the pot holes, but the random GIANT "steps" on highways, some felt inches high, would literally move the turn signals / windshield wiper stalks... it was like hitting a curb straight on at highway speeds.

They where everywhere and random, god forbid I wasnt familiar with that area... I appreciate the roads in south FL so much now, absolutely blessed, running the 19in cadiz is actually possible and fine... (they survived their time (~20k mi) in the northeast, no bends or cracks....)

I had APR aftermarket wheels and kept bending/cracking them on DE/PA roads. So I switched back to VW wheels and even though they are heavier, have not had any breaks. I have hit some hard spots too. For my R I have 19" Passat R wheels in summer and 18" GTI Dallas wheels for winter. They all use the same Bolt pattern and hub size.

If you're looking for 19" wheels, I was about to sell my original alloys for $100-set, just to clear some space in my basement. Shoot me a DM quickly if you want them. A couple have some minor curb rash. I'm in the Italian Market section of Philly.
