Why spend all that time and effort to create a car that already exists from the factory?

DAZA swap in a golf R? That makes sense VW wouldn't sell you that car. But this?

The guy bought a GTI and a wreaked Golf R in order to make a "R" that's now worth less than the GTI would have been had he left it alone.

A vent behind the cooling stack is really effective... A scoop intended for a top mount intercooler, not so much.

Yea the lines just aren't consistent with the style. That hood looks like it's from a subaru 4 gens ago.

This must be a kid making that oil field money for the first time. Respect all builds I guess.

Fair play to the guy, he's clearly doing it for the love of it and the achievement rather than it making any kind of financial sense. He certainly knows one end of a wrench from the other and after doing all that there won't be much he doesn't know about MQB cars!
