Golf GTD Remap at 60k?

Guys when you map them does it interfere with the EGR or DPF?

Or do you not need to touch them?

Considering getting our new GTD mapped. Just about to chop our manual 7 GTD against a late DSG 7.5.

Tried a DTUK box. Didn’t like. Rough & ready. Ruined the MPG readout (as it tricks sensors) & developed a nasty diesel clatter. Not for me.

With new car it’ll be remap only and maybe a pedal box to sharpen up the pedal (another weak point)

Clutch was solid on the 7, though it had the occasional judder on pull away that they all seem to get.

DSG with ~220hp would make for a swift derv for sure

I'm at 35k and mapped since 10k with no issues. Check out carbon tuning, that's who did mine and offer a very good service which you can do from home yourself

Hmm. Same company who don’t answer emails or the phone. Reason enough not to bother in my book.
