First transmission fluid change?

When did you do your first transmission fluid change? I called VW and they said 75,000 miles. I was like wdffff. I have 18k on my car and i'm dying to change the transmission fluid.

Why would you feel the need to change it at 18k? I've never heard of any car that needs the trans fluid changed that early, even trucks that tow don't go that low, lowest I've seen is 40k.

DSG service is every 40k. This is in the manual, and it is a very common interval for DSG cars.
