Fault: Lighting Error - Help please !

Hi, my 2013 2.0 tdi bluemotion Golf is showing "Fault: Lighting Error" all the time
I've checked all the bulbs and all are working fine...any ideas ?

I've only got filament bulbs - no led's....

Could be one of the control modules bolted to the underside of the headlights...Without a OBDII or VCDS fault code scan we won't know.

It's not showing any fault codes, although I don't know if this is good enough as it was only £30

Doubt it will scan the headlight modules or even the central electronics module...usually those cheapies only do the engine, ABS, & airbag modules.

Depends on what you'll plan to use it for and price point. Cheapest would be ODBEleven, if you want more features but a higher price point the Rosstech cables are good. I picked up a Hexnet V2 through their exchange for my old Can+USB model since that doesn't work on some MK7s and newer.

I'd double check on ODBEleven, should work as it works on all NAR Golf models.

As above....I got my Ross-tech cable via Gendan in the UK
