OK so I'm new to the VW world, but I couldn't find anything on the subject on Google or the forum. Is it a good idea or recommended to do a break-in service on the DSG? Or the VAQ LSD for that matter?
For those of you who have done BMW's, you'll know that Mike Miller (our resident long-term durability expert) still recommends full fluid exchange after a 1200 mi break-in (oil, diff, transmission).
Obviously the manual doesn't say anything beyond the 3 yr/30k mi interval (or something like that), but has anyone here done that? I figured these cars still run-in like everything else, but data seems scarce around here...
