I figured as much, though my post certainly came off defensive. That was not intentional. If I could go to the dealer and get all of the stuff done I would. Or at least it would be my first choice, cost would factor in.
I just don't like when there are faults caused by whatever method was used to get things working. Of course if the faults cause no functional problems there's no harm.
I just spend too much time looking at scans and have too many retrofits happening to leave faults hanging around. Always need to know if the new thing I (probably) screwed up is creating a problem
. I'm too lazy to keep track of "permanent" faults.
It triggers the part of me that can't stand some of the aircraft OEMs. My job that pays the bills is in aviation and I can't stand when manufacturers/vendors include in their manuals that certain faults will always be present and should be considered nuisance
. Fix it damnit, don't claim it's "normal" after all your customers complain about it, lol.
