Don't now if I am going round the bend or maybe my car has a will of it's own!
I decided to upgrade my dipped beams on my mk7 1.4 petrol Match to Phillips X-treamVision H7 bulbs.
I had trouble identifying the dip from main as the outer lights would not come on, in the end I identified the dip (outer set) and changed them. Odd thing is I now realise the main and dip will only work at night or if the sensor on the windscreen is covered. Is this right, or has my Golf started to take matters into it's own hands?
It is the same with auto and on settings.
