This is what I always wanted to have,
but VW didn't gave me even a chance to buy and 'retrofit' it.
Stock oem mirror:
Mounting from top:
Beauty frameless mirror:
Mounting from back:
I searched everywhere for mirror compatible with Lane assist.
The main issue is mounting,
standard trim - from back to top,
Lane Assist trim - from the top.
Everywhere in description I read:
Not any more!
The project is still in progress, in short:
I had to disassembly old and new mirror,
solder wire harness with longer cables (extend ~15cm),
and do many many Dremel job with holder, but also with back cover of mirror.
compare of cable harness, standard, and extended one
top view (housing not closed)
1) ugly standard mirror; 2) oem frameless mirror; 3) custom condi mirror
Still have to make mounting 'better look'.

Mirror holder too long, cut, shortened, glued together. closer and closer to the end.
