Hi, I'm interested - this is on my list of things to get for my new GTI and I was just looking at a few options yesterday. It looks like this one is at least semi "quick release" - as opposed to the other one I was looking at (GMG from ECS).

This is the first car I've had where it wasn't drilled by the dealership, and I want to keep it that way when the plates come in
