Can anyone verify that these are the correct BOSCH plugs for the engine 2018 and on?

Get what you want but NGK are by far the most popular. But the 8160 Bosch is the correct part number.

VW uses NGK for what that's worth. And is that your German car that was manufactured in Mexico?

And if it's a GTI (or Golf) the engine is made in Mexico too. And who knows where Bosch "German" plugs are made nowadays anyways? Probably some 3rd world country, on an assembly line right next to where no-name Android phones and bottle rockets are being made.

I prefer German plugs in my German engine.
Yeah, you definitely wouldn't want to put Brazilian, Chinese, Russian, or (god forbid) Indian spark plugs in your "German" engine that came from Mexico.
