Coilover install fitment issues at the knuckle?

MK7 Gti, ordered a set of BC Racing coilovers, i'm doing install right now. The coilover lower mount does not snug fit when tightening the knuckle bolt. If i drop the hub with the jack, it just falls out........... The labels on the coilovers say they're made for 13+ mk 7.

Golf & TDI - 50 mm strut - black steel knuckles

GTI & R - 55 mm strut - silver alu alloy knuckles

Interesting.. so if I'm looking to order a set of coilovers for a 17 mk7 GTI, I need to order the 55 mm strut version?

Damn. Those are the coilovers I want. If I had any spare funds, would have bought them off you.

But I'm sure they can exchange for you.

Yes you need a 55mm mount for a Gti.

BC will send you the correct mounts, or wherever you purchased the coils from. I ordered a set before they were actually available in the US and was sent the 50mm mounts by mistake as well. Thankfully I knew as soon as I opened the box instead of during the install like it sounds for you.
