Can we not edit out prices when an item sells?

I mean "we" as a forum in general. If someone wants to price and item, it makes it hard to gauge what it has been recently selling for when sellers edit their post, remove the price, and just put "SOLD".

You can leave the price in while still indicating an item is sold, so people can see historically what it has sold for.

Sometimes the price that is listed isn't the end selling price, though. I've been on both sides of holding firm to a fair price and also negotiating a high price down from what was listed.
