Can a GTD sound nice with an exhaust?

Hi everyone,

Thinking of getting a new exhaust on the GTD (gti style)
But worried about it sounding awful. Can I put a miltek exhaust on it and it sound ok? Or not bother.

I would get a hi flow cat downpipe with two hi performance resonators. These are straight through and not baffled so they won't obstruct exhaust gas flow. These types of resonators will not necessarily make the car much quieter, but a lot smoother and less raspy. In my opinion the rasp of a diesel with an exhaust is what sounds bad.

Edit: I'm also talking about leaving the rear section stock. That suitcase muffler will do a lot to help it sound good - loud from the downpipe - but still good.
