Anybody ever had a broken trigger wheel/impulse rotor on their mk7?

As in topic did anybody here ever have a damaged trigger wheel/impulse rotor on their mk7?

And if so what were your symptoms?

Pretty sure mine is busted. But since I have yet to find any people reporting on this anywhere I am wondering I'm wrong.

You referring to the one on the crankshaft?

A guy I work with had one crack on his S3. First ive seen of this happen.
