Android Auto & Car Play

I doubt we'll see this even in the US models of the Golf R (since we have to wait anyways), but when VW decides to add this to their new cars in say 2016, what are the chances of we can install a VW headunit that has this functionality?

I don't have any history with VW so I have nothing to draw from. With Mazdas and Nissans, there are ways to do this.

Seeing as how VW is on the list of manufacturers that are supporting Android Auto I don't see why we wouldn't have it next year when the Golf R comes out, especially since Auto is coming out this year.

Car manufacturers tend to take their time with stuff like this. You know...testing, approvals, red tape... Etc.
