Alternatives to Sportwagen/Alltrack?

Hey, I have a Mk7.5 Sportwagen and love it. Wondering where I go from here when I want to replace it or get another wagon? I love a wagon but the new market in US seems limited to Audi and Volvo for wagons. Which VW model has a large easy trunk like the Sportwagen? The Atlas? Seems awfully large like the zippy nature of the Sportwagen. Reminds me off the 1999 Ford Escort Wagon I used to own except a million times better. Can’t bring myself to get a Subie would like to stay in the VW universe.

Audi has the king of wagons still a available as a 2023 model… but not at all in the tax bracket of the majority of us VW bums

Got over 100k? New AMG wagon or RS6, taycan

35-50 or so? Volvo V90, newer non AMG wagons, mid teens AMGs, M sport 3 series

35 and under? 05-09 AMG wagons and pretty much any American, German, Swedish, Japanese or whatever wagon that isn’t some special sports wagon

Audi Allroad would be the next step up. GTI engine, Quattro awd, nicer interior. Can be modded and possibly flex fuel and MPI.
