Buried deep in the recesses of the Volkswagen Canada website, I found press releases detailing upcoming AWD Golf variants. In addition to the 4Motion 1.8 TSI All-Track being available as an automatic, it will be available as a six-speed manual.

A regular Golf Sportwagon will also be available with 4Motion. That's the first I've heard of that one.

I've been daydreaming of an IS38 Alltrak w/ DSG tune. Red car, swap the plaid GTI cloth seats into it... bam. The closest you'll get to an R wagon in America.

The alltrack is going to be expensive it should get the 2.0 TSI.

I'm 85% sure that'll be my next car. A TR DSG alltrak. Regardless, my next car will certainly be an Mk7 golf variant, so I'm already looking into some universal parts like an IS38, prolly gonna look for a totaled PP and salvage the brakes, etc
