7.5 GTD Variant lowering

Hey guys, I'm new here, I'm looking at lowering my Golf mk7.5 GTD Variant with ST suspension/Ap sportfahrwerke fixed suspension. Both around 30mm drop on both sides. Is there anyone with same type of suspension? If so, can you post any pictures? Would it really be 30mm drop on both sides or less? I had coilovers on previous car and I didn't change ride height once in 3 years of ownership, so I don't really want to spend 2x amount of money on coilovers. Or is it better just get VWR springs and later change shocks when they start to leak? Would drop for MK7 GTD Variant be same as Golf R Variant with just VWR springs?
